DGCA Mock Test Online
Timed practice tests for the DGCA CPL ground subjects, with instant scoring and a full answer review so every test teaches you something.
Start a mock test
Choose a subject. Each test draws 50 questions from the question bank, runs on a 60-minute timer and shows a full review at the end.
How to get the most from a mock test
- Cover the subject first. Mocks measure what you know, so take them after practising by topic.
- Sit it properly. Timer on, no notes, no pausing.
- Review every wrong answer. Note whether it was the idea, the arithmetic or a misreading.
- Fix and repeat. Revise the weak topics, then take another test.

Common questions
How do the DGCA mock tests work?
Pick a subject (and optionally topics), start a timed test of 50 questions in 60 minutes, then submit to see your score, accuracy by topic and the correct answer and the correct answer for every question, with an explanation where there is one.
Are the mock tests the same as the real DGCA exam?
No. They are a practice format built to build speed and accuracy. The real exam's format and timing are set by DGCA, so check the official notices.
Which subjects have mock tests?
Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations and Technical General. Radio Telephony is practised live in class.
Do I need an account?
The 12-question sample test is open to everyone. The full 50-question mock tests are part of the free TrueHeading student account: register with your name and email and you can take them as often as you like.
Is my progress saved?
Your results and progress are saved in your own browser on your device, so you can track improvement over time.
When should I take a mock test?
After you have covered a subject. Take a timed test, review every wrong answer, then revise those topics before the next one.
