Read-back Trainer
Hear an ATC clearance, type the read-back, see exactly what you missed
Result
Listen (or read) the message, then type your read-back. You can type numbers as digits or as words, for example 1013 or WUN ZE-RO WUN TREE.
What must be read back?
- Taxi, line-up, take-off, landing, crossing and hold-short instructions, with the runway
- Runway in use and altimeter settings (QNH or QFE)
- Levels, headings and speeds
- SSR codes
- Route clearances and approach clearances
- Frequency changes (normal good practice)
Information like wind or "report ..." does not have to be read back. End every read-back with your callsign.
