How to play

• Pick what to practise: name to ICAO code, name to IATA code, code to airport, FIR codes or ICAO prefixes.
• For airports, choose India, the world or both. Pick one of four answers, or type the code.
• Each round has 10 questions. The answer line tells you the airport, its codes and what the prefix means.
• The lookup table at the bottom lets you search every airport, FIR and prefix in the quiz.

ICAO codes have four letters and are used in flight plans and weather reports. IATA codes have three letters and are used by airlines and on baggage tags. Codes and names can change; check the AIP for current data.
