Memory & Recall

Study a panel or a radio message for a few seconds, then answer from memory.

What to try

  • Scan a panel the same way every time, left to right and top to bottom.
  • For messages, chunk them: callsign, instruction, number. Repeat the numbers quietly.
  • For number sequences, group digits into pairs or threes. On Hard you type them back in reverse.

Practice tip

Do not try to hold everything. Decide quickly what is likely to be asked, such as numbers and colours, and keep those. Rehearse in your head, as you would for a read-back.
